Digital Chocolate's Tornado Mania!(TM) Earns First Ever Perfect 10 Awarded by IGN Wireless

Third Perfect 10 Awarded by IGN.com to Any Game on Any Platform in IGN.com History

San Mateo, CA, December 19, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) Digital Chocolate, Inc., a leading publisher of high-quality, original games and software for mobile phones, announced today its latest product, Tornado Mania!, has earned a perfect score, 10 out of 10, from IGN.com, a leading U.S. online, multi-platform video game reviewer.

Tornado Mania! is the first game to receive the coveted perfect 10 score in more than seven years, and only the third in the history of IGN.com spanning more than eight years. In 1998, Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time earned a perfect 10 on the Nintendo 64 system, and in 1999, Namco's Soul Calibur earned a perfect 10 on the Dreamcast system. This is also the first time any wireless game has earned a perfect 10 in the history of IGN.com Wireless coverage, spanning nearly four years.

"Tornado Mania! is Digital Chocolate's triumph and the best mobile game I have played since February of 2003, when I first joined IGN," said Levi Buchanan, editor in chief, IGN Wireless. "Tornado Mania! is, to me, the culmination of the spirit that drives both mobile and Digital Chocolate -- a genius concept executed upon with brilliantly simple controls and excellent challenge-reward mechanics. It deserves this 10."

In Tornado Mania!, players take control of a bizarre tornado machine developed by a mad scientist. With two complete games in one, players choose to use the power of the tornado machine for creation or destruction. In Utopia Mode, users collect buildings and other structures from the outside world, bringing them back to the mad scientist's Antarctic Biosphere to rebuild a perfect civilization. In Rampage Mode, players who decide civilization is over-rated can set out on a path of ultimate destruction, crushing everything in their path. In this mode, players consume everything from cows to high rises, growing the power of their tornado, while avoiding helicopters that drop tornado-slowing dry ice from above.

"For the many talented men and women who pour their hearts and souls into every product we make, it is a real thrill to get this level of recognition from a reviewer as prestigious as IGN.com," said Trip Hawkins, founder and CEO of Digital Chocolate. "I know that this perfect 10 score, while exceedingly rare, is made possible striving to make the best possible games time and time again. I am very proud of our team and grateful to IGN.com for this very special recognition."

Tornado Mania! will release on wireless operators in North America and Europe over this holiday season and early next year.
