Senior Programmer

Digital Chocolate’s Microjocs Studio is looking for Senior Programmers for its Game Development Team based in the beautiful sunny City of Barcelona. We are seeking people with good all-around experience.

The senior programmer is a software engineer responsible for the programming side of a game. Senior programmers need to be capable of organizing other programmers or junior programmers in case they have to lead others for a specific project.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of mobile games from concept to ship.
• Lead development teams in the implementation of games.
• Scope and define technical specifications for game applications.

Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in games or applications development on console, J2ME or BREW.
• Strong track record of shipping projects on time.
• Working knowledge of mobile to server networking is a plus.
• Passion for games and knowledge of the games industry is a plus.
• Good command of English is essential.
