Product Manager

Are you a self-starter with good business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and cross functional leadership skills? Would you like to work as a member of an international and successful game development team? Digital Chocolate’s Microjocs Studio is looking for a talented Product Manager. The position is located in Barcelona, Spain.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact on all issues that have P&L impact relating to own products for Global Sales force, Marketing, Studio and Operations
• Manage multiple product launches on an annual basis
• Work with development team to define product positioning and feature sets.
• Work with publishing group to identify new games productions and participate in product roadmap planning.
• Work on benchmarking competing products and positioning own offering towards those.
• Work with other teams (Marketing, Graphic Design) to develop all product marketing materials.
• Manage the preparation and onsite support for sales trainings and customer sales meetings.
• Drive product related marketing initiatives and provide new ideas to improve total product offerings

Experience and Requirements

• Graduate or nearly-finished Student of Business or Technology
• Fluency in English, additional languages a plus
• Cross-cultural competency and experience
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to write short descriptive and engaging product descriptions (pitches)
• Ability to spot trends in the games, music, movie industries.
• Ability to make selling Powerpoint slides a definitive plus
• Genuine interest in games
• Familiar with current web trends like Youtube, Facebook, virtual communities, user generated content etc.
