Atkins 2Go is the first of many jointly developed applications that will launch in early 2005 to serve the millions of people who are following a controlled-carbohydrate lifestyle.

Atkins 2Go allows an individual to look up the carbohydrate counts of various foods on a cell phone, log in the foods and portions eaten along with their corresponding carbohydrate counts and track weight loss over time. Atkins 2Go is designed to be a quick, easy-to-use, mobile application for individuals following a controlled-carbohydrate lifestyle.

The partnership names Digital Chocolate as the exclusive developer and marketer for Atkins® mobile phone software in an international multi-year, multi-product agreement. Through the agreement, mobile users will have instant access to nutritional information and advice straight from the brand that started the low-carb revolution. With the touch of a keypad, users will be able to keep track of their daily carbohydrate intake and research the carbohydrate content in their favorite foods.
